Sadly, R&D&Co has ceased trading. We'd like to thank all our clients over the past five years who have allowed us to do such interesting and exciting projects. In particular though, we'd like to thank our designers - Eric Au, Nahim Afzal, Dave Brown, James Harvey, Natalie Bullard, Anthony Smith and Anoushka Jahangiri - for producing such fantastic work for us.

11KBW

Get set. Go.

“We’ve never been so busy!” was the cry a few months after the launch of the new 11KBW brand for this leading barrister chambers. They even had to buy more trolleys to transport the extra case loads to and from court.

Big questions

With a twenty-fifth anniversary to celebrate and a formal name change from 11 King’s Bench Walk to 11KBW, it was time for this leading set to re-assert its leadership in the marketplace. Founded in 1982 by Lord Irvine, with barrister Tony Blair, the chambers are renowned for helping to define the law through their High Court and European Court appearances. Throughout their history they have asked, and continue to ask, the big legal questions of the day.

Honours

Understanding the shared ethos of forty-eight independent barristers, their clerks and the wider team, and turning that into a commercial imperative, warrants a medal to be quite honest. By focusing on the notion of applied intelligence (it’s not just about knowing your subject, you need to know what to do with it), their academic excellence (they write and author extensively) and on their ability to shape the society we live in today, we were able to create a brand that truly reflected the chambers – one that reflects both their individuality and their collective pride.

Top set

The fact that they’ve never been so busy is truly amazing. They’ve been named Employment Set of the year and they’ve been nominated for various other legal awards as well. Here’s to the next twenty-five years.
